fee schedule

Medicrew Buderim is a Mixed Billing practice. Most consults will attract an out of pocket fee.

Each Doctor and Nurse Practitioner has set their own fees for private paying patients. Billing will depend upon the services provided during your consultation. An additional fee will be charged for accounts not settled on the day. Information on fees is available on request.

All Weekend/Public Holiday consultations with GPs and NPs will attract an out of pocket fee. Call reception for details.

Our Doctors and Nurse Practitioners may choose to offer concessional billing to patients holding a valid Pension or Health Care Card and children under 16 years with a valid Medicare Card. Please note, however, that billing is at each clinician’s discretion. Not all concession cards carry a discount; our discounted fees are for our patients in genuine need.

All Aboriginal/TSI patients who have had their 715 health assessment and registered with NCACCH will be billed directly to Medicare – excludes weekends.

We accept payment by cash, cheque, EFTPOS and Credit Card (Visa or MasterCard only).

Please note that an account keeping fee of $20 will be added to all accounts not paid on the day.

For your convenience, we have the facilities to lodge your Medicare claim online. Please note that this service is only available to accounts paid on the day.

If you would like to know more information about Medicare rebates, or the item numbers used by this practice, please speak with the reception staff, or visit the Medicare Benefits Schedule website: www.mbsonline.gov.au/

When your Doctor or Nurse Practitioner makes a referral or requests investigations for you, it is important to understand that this may involve a private fee from the relevant service provider. Such fees are out of Medicrew’s control and you are encouraged to contact the service provider to ascertain their fees for yourself.

All patients without a Medicare Card will be charged as a private patient. If you require a receipt for your insurance needs, please ask our friendly receptionists who will be happy to provide you with one. Please enquire with the practice directly about fees as each case will be determined by services provided.

Procedures carry an out-of-pocket facility fee for consumables used – examples include skin procedures, sutures, iron infusions, IMPLANON and IV fluids.
