Dr Zoe Hutchins (MBBS, BSc, FRACGP) is a specialist General Practitioner who grew up in Buderim, completing her medical training across both the University of Queensland and Deakin University, graduating in 2013. Before entering General Practice at Medicrew in 2018, she previously worked in emergency departments both locally and regionally for 4 years. During this time, she undertook further study to complete the Certificate of Emergency Medicine in 2015 providing her with the skills to excel in minor accidents, trauma and procedures. In 2020, she obtained her specialist qualification as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Dr Zoe has experience and interest in women’s health, contraception (including IUD insertions & removals) and acne management. She is also a certified prescriber for medical termination of pregnancy less than 8 weeks. Dr Zoe is eager to treat people with chronic illness, however, does not prescribe opiate or benzodiazepine medication without additional specialist involvement.

In her spare time, Dr Zoe enjoys being outdoors, snowboarding, and spending time with her husband, son and their golden retriever.

Dr Zoe only offers bulk billing to children under 5 years. All other patients will be privately billed (i.e. will incur an out-of-pocket gap fee).
