As part of her GP training, Pamela worked with the Royal Flying Doctor Service in rural Australia and completed a Diploma in Child Health. Dr Pamela enjoys all aspects of General Practice because of the variety of medicine and for the opportunity to get to know her patients and their families. Pamela has a particular interest in Women’s Health, Adolescent Health, Child Health and Allergy (such as hayfever, asthma, eczema and food allergies.) Dr Pamela is happy to see patients of all ages and health issues except for Skin Cancer Checks for which she can refer you to a Dermatologist or GP colleague for further care. Dr Pamela has recently moved back to the Sunshine Coast with her husband after a few years living in New Zealand. When she is not at work Dr Pamela loves to get outdoors for a walk or a swim and enjoy nature.
Dr Pamela Kimlin is a private billing GP and you will be required to pay a gap fee for most consultations. Children up to 16 years, Concession card holders and Students are offered a reduced fee. All childhood immunisations appointments will be bulk billed. Patients with conditions requiring frequent review, or frequent tests, may be bulk-billed at the discretion of Dr Kimlin.
